Rather than going out, Luke and I stayed home to welcome the trick-or-treaters. He was shy at first, then warmed up to the idea, and soon was taking the candy and putting it into the kids' bags. At one point we had Chinese delivery and Luke was confused as to why the delivery guy didn't want any candy.
Holding a piece of candy in one hand, he called after the guy as he walked away from the house: "Man? Man?!!!..."
